Portugal Visit Visas
Portugal is not just the most westerly European country but also one of the oldest European countries. Living standards and per capita income in the Portuguese Republic are among the highest in the world. As a result of its long history of invasion, the country’s architecture is fascinating and distinctive.
Portugal participates in international organizations and is a member of the E.U. and Schengen Area. In 1995, it became a later member, eliminating its boundaries with the other member states. Since then, visitors have been able to apply for a Schengen Visa in Portugal. They are also permitted entry to the rest of the Schengen area with a valid Portuguese short-stay visa. Portugal tourist visa fees for citizens of Pakistan on a single and multiple entry is charged at €80 for adults and €40 for children aged between 6 and 12 years. Portugal Entry Requirements
Documents required for entrance into Portugal vary by country of origin. The following documents must be shown at the Portuguese port of entry by any traveller who is not a citizen of the European Economic Area:

All you have to do to apply for a visa is fill out the form completely, print it out, and sign it at the end.
Two passport photos
Photographs must be similar and meet the specifications for a Portuguese Schengen visa application.
Your valid passport
- There must be at least two unused pages in the passport for the visa to be attached.
- Not older than ten years,
- It must be valid for at least three months after you depart from Portugal and the whole Schengen zone.
Copies of your previous visas
Provide copies of valid visas you have ever had from any country worldwide.
Round-trip Flight Itinerary
Proof of a confirmed flight reservation required for entry and exit from Portugal with your name, contact information, and travel details should all be included here.
Proof of accommodation and Funds
- Accommodation in Portugal may be a part of the document.
- Documentation demonstrating that you have the means to support yourself throughout your stay in Portugal
A cover letter
A cover letter detailing your trip to Portugal, including the dates you’ll be there and when you’ll be leaving.
Proof of civil status
Marriage certificates, birth certificates, death certificates of the spouse, and the like are all acceptable to prove your civil status.
Portugal Travel Health Insurance
Verification that you have medical evacuation coverage of at least €30,000 during your trip to Portugal, including the rest of the Schengen area.
If you have a family member or a friend in Portugal, you can apply for a Portuguese Visitor Visa. It would help if you showed that you have a relative or friend living in Portugal who has extended an invitation to visit for less than 90 days.
