Turkey visa for Pakistanis general requirements

Pakistani citizens holding official passports (Diplomatic, Service, or Special passport holders) are excluded from Turkey’s visa requirement for stays of up to 90 days. However, most passport holders must apply for a visa to enter Turkey. For Pakistani citizens, the Turkish visit visa fee varies on the applicant. The Visa fee for a single entry visa is Rs.1200/- and for a multiple entry visa, it is Rs.44,000/- and is non-refundable if you get a visa refusal.
Further, ordinary passport holders with a valid visa or residence permit for the Schengen area, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Ireland may apply for a 30-day single-entry e-Visa via the Turkish government’s E-Visa website.

Requirements to Apply for Turkey Visit Visa

From Pakistan, these are the essentials you’ll need to apply for a visa to Turkey:

  • A correctly filled out and submitted Visa Application Form (VAF).
  • With the use of biometric photographs that have two different colours (white background – 5x5cm size)
  • An undamaged passport or another acceptable travel document with a validity date at least six months after your intended return date, as well as A4-sized copies of your biographical data and any pages you plan to utilize from your previous passport.
  • Evidence of financial stability in government-issued documentation (Salary checks, FBR, NTN, Active Tax Payer Certificate.)
  • A copy of your marriage certificate or a copy of your family registration certificate from the NADRA office (if you are recently married).
  • The letter of invitation from the Conference/Seminar/Meeting Committee. A letter of invitation or registration confirmation from the event’s organizer. (If relevant)
  • A cover letter prepared by the applicant outlining the purpose of the travel (to a conference, seminar, or meeting), including dates, locations, and other pertinent information. (Your cover letter must not exceed one page.)
  • Proof that the applicant has ready access to financial resources that are adequate for the intended trip:
  • Three months’ worth of signed and dated bank statements (no more than ten days old) from any financial institution (checking, savings, credit union, etc.)
  • A certificate of continued use of a bank account is necessary (This is for those who live in Punjab, Sindh, and Baluchistan only.)
  • Indication of your desire to return or continue your travel (return ticket reservation, transit ticket reservation etc.)
  • Documentation demonstrating that you have a place to stay while in Turkey (such as a confirmed hotel booking, an invitation letter from your host with the host’s address, a copy of a lease or deed, etc.
  • You must have a document proving that you have enough health insurance that covers you for the duration of your trip to Turkey, including the expense of repatriation.
  • Proof that you have been vaccinated against polio.

Pakistani nationals who are not qualified for the Turkey tourist e-Visa or who want to extend their stay in Turkey beyond the length of time allowed by the e-Visa will need to apply for a Turkey Visit visa or the Sticker, which is a version of the Turkey visa.
Obtaining a completed application form from one of Anatolia Travel Services’ visa application centres in Pakistan is the only way this visa may be requested.
