US Business Immigration from Pakistan
US investor and intracompany routes for Pakistani founders and businesses — the EB-5 investor green card and the L-1 transfer visa.

Two routes that fit Pakistani applicants.
With no E-2 treaty available to Pakistani nationals, the realistic business routes are EB-5 and L-1. We assess which fits your capital and company.
- 01
EB-5 Investor
A qualifying investment creating US jobs, leading to a green card for you and your family.
- 02
L-1A Manager
Transfer a manager or executive to a US office of your existing business.
- 03
L-1B Specialist
Transfer an employee with specialised knowledge to the US business.
- 04
New US office
Set up a new US branch and transfer in your key people over time.
Which route matches your profile?
EB-5 turns on investment and job creation; L-1 turns on a genuine, qualifying business relationship. We assess both honestly before you commit funds.
Good to know: The E-2 Treaty Investor visa is generally not available to Pakistani nationals — we focus on routes that apply to you.

Questions we hear often.

Can I use the E-2 visa?
Generally not. Pakistan does not currently have an E-2 treaty with the US, so we focus on EB-5 and L-1, which are open to Pakistani applicants.
Does EB-5 give a green card?
Yes. A successful EB-5 investment leads to conditional permanent residence, then a full green card once the conditions are met.
Do I need an existing business for L-1?
Yes. L-1 requires a qualifying overseas business and a related US entity, with the right employment history.
Can my family join me?
Yes. Spouses and dependent children are included, and an L-1 spouse may apply for work authorisation.
